John Minary

John Minary has spent a career working with West Yorkshire Police. John's career was spent mainly within CID where he was involved in the Investigation of Serious and Organised Crime. He also worked within Intelligence and within Crime Prevention. He has worked extensively within statutory partnerships and has a particular interest the reduction of Metal Theft.  

John is Chairman of York Heritage Watch, he also volunteers at the Stained Glass Centre, York and in his spare time enjoys watching Rugby, listening to music, collecting vinyl and maintaining his classic motorcycles. 

Anette Wahlgren  

Anette Wahlgren holds a BA in Fine Art (Singapore 2003) and a MA in Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management (York 2011). She has recently restored historic stained glass panels on display in York Art Gallery. 

Anette has worked on numerous projects conservation projects including stained glass in the Great East Window of York Minster and windows in Uppsala Cathedral, Sweden. Anette is currently working with York Glaziers Trust and is the Volunteer Manager at The Stained Glass Centre, York. In her spare time Anette is an avid gardener and reader. 


John Barr

John Barr gained a wealth of experience investigating many high profile serious crimes in a police career spanning 31 years. During this time he became a specialist criminal investigations trainer and also developed national policies relating to the use of DNA in historic investigations.  On leaving the police he worked as a CID consultant in the Middle East and has delivered investigation and training services in Northern Ireland and Albania, where he trained anti-corruption investigators. John enjoys sailing on the West Coast of Scotland and is a keen non-playing member of his local cricket club.
